100 goals revisited

100 goals revisited -- I've talked about this before (here) but wanted to do kind of a 1/2 year recap since the last one was at the beginning of January. I'm sure if you wanted to compare with the old list you would notice that I've added a new bit of organization to the list that makes sense to me. If my count just a minute ago is correct I've completed 34 of these goals and some will probably take many years to accomplish (especially with the travel involved).

  1. Have a family, that includes wife and kid/kids
  2. Read through the entire Bible
  3. Read 100 books - going to have to start counting - See progress

  5. Read the 10 greatest books per Time - See progress - 2 of 10 right now
  6. Do Project365
  7. Give blood
  8. Build a snowman
  9. Get a photograph published - AALL Spectrum
  10. Drive a car fast enough it cuts off
  11. Ride a Train
  12. See a Stand-up Show - Kevin James & Daniel Tosh
  13. Stand underneath a waterfall
  14. Volunteer at a food bank
  15. Tutor a little kid
  16. Try Acupuncture
  17. Give $100 to a complete stranger
  18. Sleep under the stars
  19. Catch an Alligator
  20. Catch a 10 pound bass
  21. Take dancing lessons
  22. Take flying lessons
  23. Ride a horse
  24. Go Skydiving
  25. Go Skinny Dipping
  26. Do Firewalking
  27. Buy some custom fit shirts

  47. Visit all 50 states
  1. Have a $5,000 emergency fund
  2. Fully fund my Roth IRA
  3. Buy a house - it's not that cool, especially when you try and sell it
  4. Buy a car with cash (probably used but still)
  5. Own an antique car, preferably a convertible or truck
  6. Own land preferably 10 acres or more (my lot with the house I'm not counting here)
  7. Owe NOBODY - no cars, no student loans, no mortgages
