Query

I was reading something today and I wanted to know if any of you have actually tried it?

To unclog a drain one of the easiest ways to accomplish this is to attach a hose to the faucet and place the nozzle in the drain. wrap a rag around it and make a good seal. Also make sure to cover the overflow vent in the sink if there is one. According to the article turning the water on will create plenty of pressure needed to unclog the drain in seconds.

I can see where this would work but I could also envision me trying something like this and blowing the pipes under my sink out. Don't know but thought I would ask since I know several smart people read this blog (which makes me wonder how smart you really are).
